Thank you allowing us the opportunity to share your faith story! First question what is your definition of faith and spirituality?
Faith is the belief in what can not be seen. Everything is inherently spirituality, if you have life, you have spirit.
What are some examples of trials and tribulations you faced in your life that made you want to clinch onto your faith?
I walk in faith every day as an entrepreneur in a space that was not carved out for me. Along with a path that I set ablaze when there was no course to chart. My entire career has been built upon faith.
How did you handle these trials and what made you not fully give up?
Commitment is key. I use prayer to petition and communicate with God and meditation to listen to for the answers. I let Spirit order my steps instead of trying to control everything myself. No one ever said
the journey would be easy, but it’s worth it.
What device would you give other women based on your belief.
I’m not really big on giving people advice- everyone has their own unique arc and their own blueprint for their particular journey. What has worked for me in my life may not work for you. And no one should try to do what other people are doing with hopes of a similar outcome- really get clear on what it is you want to do and start- do it. Don’t wait for permission or for someone to tell you how it’s done.
How has your faith help propell you in this industry?
The universe rewards courage and courage is an outgrowth of faith. I have the courage to push boundaries and know that I will be just fine. I know that my path is blessed and that if I stay focused on what I am doing that fruit will be born.
How has your faith guided you throughout life and other opportunities within your career?
Faith is just a part of who I am. I am committed to my purpose so the steps I take towards my goals are always aligned with my intention. I am not afraid to say no or turn away from something that is not for me and I also know that if there is an opportunity that is for me that no one can take it away.
8. What does it mean to you to be an empowered woman of faith?
Being an empowered woman of faith is about standing tall in your purpose, owning your glow.
